Then Barbara came into the picture and right away things turned around, and we felt like we had a true advocate in our corner. She immediately began to right the ship. On day one, Barbara became our project manager and moved the process successfully forward. She came up with a spreadsheet of items that needed to get done and communicated with us frequently and honestly. Barbara truly worked as our boots on the ground agent to speak to people working on the house and make sure the work was getting done right as if it were her own home. Barbara even connected us to her own contacts to deal with things like plumbing issues. Our house closed for a great selling price, and it was a balancing act of sorts because we were in contract with our new home and it was contingent on the sale, but Barbara was mindful of the timelines and somehow made it all work out. We truly feel that we couldn’t have done it without Barbara. If you own a home in Southern California you know it is very valuable and that the market is tough. Don’t trust the job to just anybody.
